ORCA Retail provides you with everything you need for repair, maintain or customize your pneumatic float, whether you are a professional or an individual.
Our factory in Mouscron, Belgium, produces hundreds of meters of CSM/CR (Hypalon®) fabric every day to meet the requirements of vehicle manufacturers. semi-rigid boats (eg: Zodiac, Bombard, BRIG, Highfield, Yamaha, Honda...) and act as protection and reinforcement for your tubes against tears, leaks and punctures.

PVC is a thermoplastic while CSM/CR Neoprene is a synthetic rubber.
PVC is a plastic material, easily industrializable with a low product cost but which also entails some disadvantages compared to CSM/CR (Hypalon®) ORCA.
It is true that CSM/CR is slightly more expensive than PVC due to its raw material, but in the long term, this difference is significant.

The advantages of CSM/CR neoprene ORCA:
• UV resistance
• Longevity (a CSM/CR (Hypalon®) float can last up to 25 years if well maintained)
• Resistance to extreme temperatures, ideal for tropical areas
• Resistance to bending, shock, friction and abrasion
• Ease of repair thanks to the material and the cold bonding
• Resistance to hydrocarbons
• The resale price The disadvantages of PVC are:
• Sensitivity and aging to UV rays
• More difficult repairs
• Not recommended for intensive use

The disadvantages of CSM/CR are:
• The weight
• The purchase price
If you want a boat that can be easily repaired, is more resistant to the elements and maintains a high resale price, the choice of CSM/CR (Hypalon®) is to be favored.
CSM/CR (Hypalon®) can last for many years if well maintained with ORCA products (New magic / Shmuffex / Gumemp100).
The main criterion to remember when choosing your fabric is the length of your inflatable boat, but it is also preferable to reuse the same quality as the initial fabric (your dealer will be able to help you).

These are profiled rubber strips, to be glued with ORCA Neoprene glue, providing protection against shocks and friction harmful to your semi-rigid boat (pontoons, buoys, floating objects, rocks).
The chafing strips are suitable for all types of float tubes: Zodiac, Bombard, Capelli, Brig, Nueva Jolly, Zar Formenti, SALPA, SELVA, 3D Tender, Highfield, Joker Boat, etc.
